Client Details: We’ve noticed that a client ID can be accidentally deleted or typed over. Some staff search by client name and others by ID so we can’t always recognize when this occurs. Some ideas:
1) If the field could be locked, we could assign specific staff members the ability to unlock it under employee roles. (This would be our preference)
2) Add an “unlock” button next to the Client number field. Have it “locked” once the ID is created and the staff would have to manually unlock it in order to change that field.
This is needed. We use the client ID number for multiple things and across multiple systems when it is changed by accident, it results in mis information, mis posting of financials. Staff constantly accidentally change this without realizing it as it is the first field on the form.
