If a Vaccine Lot Number expires, it should TURN RED to alert you that it is expired or getting ready to expire within that month. You should no longer be able to select it out of the inventory.  There is no double check system at this time within NN. You can completely select, administer and chart that you are giving an expired vaccine without any warning from NN.
