This could work in the billing section as an edit. (i.e. Code E784 invalid after 10/01/2018) We had 2 clients that had the ICD E784 code. It changed in October 2018 to needing a 5th digit E7841 or E7849. If you used the old code box with the old code date it didn't show anything new to grab-just what was valid since 2016 not what was also new starting 2018. We didn't automatically think about the date being related to what was being looked up. It would be nice to catch these invalid codes before the file is sent off to insurance for billing. This billing edit would do that. Then you would know to turn off the old invalid code and add the updated one. Thanks
