At this time when printing this report out, all inactive meds print automatically. This can be a potential med error, if by chance the nurse referencing this accidently looks at an "inactive" dosage or medication instead. So what we are doing now is crossing out the 'inactive' pages with a pen. You cannot exclude this part of the report, and just simply choose not to include the 'inactives' because the bottom of the report will say "page 3 of 6" for example, but the last pages are missing. This could be looked at as an incomplete report if CMS was doing an audit.
